2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of Iowa State Parks. What began with the establishment of Backbone State Park all those years ago has grown to a system of 83 parks and recreation areas spread all across the state. With varied characteristics from dense forest to open prairie, underground caverns to sandy beaches beside sunny lakes, Iowa's parks showcase the state's abundant natural beauty and truly offer something for everyone. The Iowa State Park note card packages feature a selection of gorgeous views and allow Iowan's a unique way to proudly show off our public lands.
The Iowa State Park 10 card set (shown below) includes all the images from the State Park 5 pack: Devils Backbone Trail in Backbone State Park, autumn leaves on a foggy morning in Palisades-Kepler, dappled sunlight on Cedar Creek in Geode State Park, the gorgeous redbuds in spring at Red Haw State Park, and fall foliage on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in Pikes Peak. Additionally, you will receive cards featuring a lovely rainbow over the spillway at Lake Macbride State Park, trailside wildflowers in Lacey-Keosaqua, golden leaves on a hillside in Wildcat Den, a beautiful path through the forest at Wapsipinicon State Park, and a trickling spring at Maquoketa Caves.
