2020 marked the centennial year of Iowa State Parks. What began with the establishment of Backbone State Park near Strawberry Point in 1920 now envelops a wonderful network of 83 units statewide, providing an abundance of outdoor opportunity. Hiking trails, lakeside beaches, fishing, camping and more give visitors endless ways to get out and reconnect with Iowa's natural beauty. This gallery highlights my top images captured in Iowa State Parks; ever popular with those seeking fine art reflective of local hangouts, childhood memories, and favorite get away places.
