The 2025 Iowa Nature Calendar features a variety of seasonal scenes from all over the Hawkeye State, including images from Effigy Mounds National Monument, Wapsipinicon State Park, Pictured Rocks Park, Red Haw State Park, Stephens State Forest, Palisades-Kepler State Park, Rock Creek Timber, Maquoketa Caves State Park, Cedar Valley Park, Whitewater Canyon Wildlife Area, Hitchcock Nature Center, and Red Oak Park.
This years cover (shown above) again features a photo from Mines of Spain State Recreation Area near Dubuque. Some of you may remember that the 2024 edition did as well, and I'll explain the reasoning for that in my end of year newsletter a little later this month.

Life has been busy and I'm running a little behind on the calendars this year. At the time of this release, I've submitted the final proofs to my printer, and anticipate these to be in production and shipped out in the coming days. I know that a lot of people like to give my calendars to the nature enthusiasts on their holiday gift list (and I'm so humbled by that!) and I will try to do everything in my power to get orders sent out as quickly as I can. If you plan to give them as a gift I'm also more than happy to ship them directly to the recipient, and will include a customized hand written note telling who it is from, free of charge. Just email me after placing your order to work out these arrangements. At this point I'm unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery prior to Christmas (it all depends on how soon I get them back from the printer) but I am hopeful we can still make it happen.

If pre-Christmas delivery isn't necessarily a priority, you can also select the "No Rush" option. I will still get these order sent out as soon as possible, but they may arrive after the 25th.
