I'm very excited to once again this year offer a calendar showcasing my hometown of Tipton and the surrounding Cedar County countryside. I've spent my entire career advocating for and working to share the beauty I find in these familiar stomping grounds, and I hope that the pride I have in where I come from is evident in these images. This year's cover as shown above is a long exposure shot depicting Stars and Fireflies on a quiet Iowa summer night west of town. The back cover (shown below) previews each of the monthly photos. Those include (from left to right, top to bottom) - Rock Creek Timber, the Cedar County Freedom Rock, Red Oak Church, the Tipton Water Tower, Apple Blossoms, Tipton City Park, Midway at the Cedar County Fair, Old Union School marker at Tipton High School, a Mother Doe and Fawn, Autumn Foliage at the Library Square, the Downtown Mural, and Cedar County Historical Society's Pioneer Village.
These calendars make great gifts and are perfect expressions of hometown pride for locals, or reminders of this special place for loved ones who have moved away. But supplies do go fast, so order yours today!
